This literature review aimed to systematically identify and summarise the literature surrounding the delivery of health promotion through recreational settings, with a focus on analysing the impacts and outcomes of health promotion interventions to identify what works, what doesn't work and the limitations of the evidence.
Finally, recommendations were provided to assist in identifying effective health promotion interventions, as well as determining gaps in the evidence and opportunities to build the knowledge base of promoting health through these settings.
